I have recently undertaken an extension to my club in Redcar, and due to the complexities of building a traditional roof system, ie a main ridge beam from 9″ x 3″ timber over 40ft long, and a tapered building area, I decided to look into having trusses tailor made. I contacted JB Smith, who gave me a very competitive quote, and although the 19 trusses all had differing angles at the rear to combat the taper, I had them all delivered to site 8 days later,and all installed the day after. I calculate that I have saved over two weeks labour and timber savings too in using Smiths for my trusses .
